En Route

What an amazing time together with our Batwa friends! I don’t think any of us (Texan or Batwa) will ever be the same! Claude and I want to let you know that your loved ones and friends are en route to Houston. We said our good-byes this morning at the Bujumbura International Airport (with some tears, many hugs and as many promises to return again). We imagine they are in Nairobi now, awaiting the next connection. But soon they will be with you to tell their story of an amazing week among the Batwa of Burundi!

Wow! Amazing pictures! Thank you Kelley and Claude. God showed me so many incredible things this week. I am not the same. He is still showing me more since arriving home. God is good!
I miss the Batwa already. As I think back at the time we got to share I am so very thankful to everyone involved and especially to our Lord. I am forever changed.
