Communityfor Intern Jacob Fowler was deployed to Mexico in mid-May, where he is currently spending two months learning about community development & the indigenous church, under the guidance of Field Coordinators Kerry & Mauri Johnson, & other local partners. Fowler is a junior majoring in Economics at Texas A&M University, & he hopes to observe how the theories he has studied in the classroom setting do or do not apply to the Mixteco & Zapoteco villages of Oaxaca. Fowler has also received the prestigious Longnecker & Associates Business Fellowship.
