We did a lot of cool stuff last year!
Jan 12th, 2010 by miguel johnson
Last year, among the many cool things we had a chance to do, is that we experimented with different types of seeds, growing them in different climates and usually … with pretty good results! We did a lot of training for whole villages on various topics.
Including vaccination.
Rabbit production.
We enjoyed a lot of games.
And sometimes even the adults … won!
Some of the Communityfor staff had a chance to pray together at a mountain cabin and share about each ones’ ministry. We taught people how to capture the rainwater off the roof.
And helped people with water, so they could wash their clothes.
And for the first time … they have HOT water to bath themselves!
We helped start several hundred family chicken projects.
We fabricated and installed several egg incubators.
And they are producing several chicks as you read this.
We helped rescue a calf that fell off a cliff.
We tested water quality.
And we produced our own chlorine solution for purifying water.
We planted and harvested a lot of tomatoes as well as other vegetables.
Soon we’ll be adding a BUNCH more photos that we couldn’t stuff in on this post, so stay tuned and also check-out our “Burro on the go” site!
Love the pictures! It is amazing what all was accomplished in 2009!! Looking forward to a great 2010!
